Frequently Asked Questions

How much are your covers?

Our custom ebook cover package is $350, and our custom ebook + print cover package is $450, and our Full Package is $650. Go here to see our pricing details.

If I order an ebook cover now can I upgrade to a print cover in the future?

Absolutely. There is a $100 charge for the print upgrade.

How does payment work?

Our initial invoice will be for half of the design cost of your project, with a second invoice sent after completion of the final design. We prefer payments to be sent through Venmo.

What do I get when the project is complete?

The ebook package: You’ll receive a high-resolution (300 dpi) 6:9 ratio (1800px x 2700px) version plus a low resolution promotional file for your website and social media.

Print package: You’ll receive a high-resolution PDF file laid out specifically for your choice of paperback or hardback file for your Print On Demand publisher.

How do I start the process?

If you’re interested in a custom cover, use the Contact Form, and let’s chat first to find out more about your needs. I’ll send you a cover design questionnaire when you’re ready to begin.

How soon can I expect my new cover?

I’ll let you know what my current production schedule looks like when you contact me. Once you’re ready to start on the cover, the process usually takes from three to four weeks, depending on how many revisions we need.

* If you’re getting a print cover, expect to receive that design up to 7-10 days after you approve the front cover design.

What genres do you work with?

Our specialties are Christian Romance & Suspense, Sweet Romance, Christian Thriller, Sweet & Clean Historical Romance, Sweet & Clean Fiction, and Christian Non-Fiction. We’re not comfortable working on erotica, horror, or LGBT covers.

Do you use stock photography? I don’t want someone else to have a cover that looks just like mine.

We do rely on stock photography for most of our covers, so it may be possible another author may have the same photo utilized in their cover. But we always try to incorporate multiple elements into each cover in order to give you a unique book cover.

How does your custom cover design process work?

The first step is for us to have a conversation to find out if I’m the best fit for your needs. If we decide to work together I’ll send you a Story Questionnaire form, in which you provide me with basics such as story synopsis, title, and author name, etc. I find it most helpful to see other popular covers that are selling well in your genre. The questionnaire asks for ten links to these books. Next, I’ll create a  preliminary design for you to see if we are heading in the right direction. After that, you’ll have up to five revisions to fine-tune the final design. (Don’t worry though, I won’t leave you hanging with a design you don’t like. My goal is to give you the cover you want within reasonable expectations.)

How do I contact you?

You can use our Contact Form to get the ball rolling. For time reference, we’re located in the eastern United States.
